    I had the worst move out experience here. The rent and extra charges are immensely high. If you ever plan to rent, be sure to check on the additional charges, because besides your rent as you would be paying an minimum $200-$300 additional for the outside utilities (excluding your own apartment utilities). They even charge you a fee for the mailboxes for packages. Also do not ever rent the apartment in phase 1 - 7th floor. It has only 1 elevator and its wasnt working (for months together) or reserved for move-ins during 80% of my stay at this apartments. The leasing office is extremely nice to you when you are new and looking for an apartment. After you move in, dont expect them to respond to any queries. They even charge you a ridiculously high move out charges even though you clean out the apartment before leaving. Dont expect to get back your deposit. Instead you would have to pay additional amount out of pocket even for leaving apartment in clean and neat condition. So word of advice - Do not waste your time cleaning the apartment because they are going to charge you the standard fee anyway. During the inspection they told us we would be charged a lighter cleaning fee because we cleaned the apartment ourselves. Even when we handed over our keys at the leasing office, they confirmed the same. But when we got the actual charges, we were surprised to see the standard rate charged to us. They didnt even bother to explain why they charged us such a high amount. And when I reached out to them for explanation of the fees, they didnt respond and send their billing team who are extremely rude, dont understand/listen to your issue and their only goal is to extract the money out of you - even if that means they have to threaten to pay. Not to mention the extremely high transaction fees. Only good thing about the apartment was the location and the maintenance team - who were punctual and helpful

    If you value your valuable time, money, and energy don't waste any of them at Main Street Flats. I've lived in another apartment in downtown Bellevue for almost 2 years and you are not getting what you pay for here. This place has an ongoing problem with its parking garage. The three times I needed to access my parking space, the garage door only worked once and the parking spaces are so tiny that two cars use a three-car parking space... and that's if you're lucky. In addition to that, the hallways as well as my apartment reeked of strong punget odors that were quite repulsive. The common areas are quite filthy in general. Just one example is another tenant's dog left their feces in the hall. When I started experiencing issues and needed to contact the office, my calls and emails were being ignored. Only after multiple calls, emails, or going to the office in person would I get a response. After experiencing immense disappointment, I bought out my lease without hesitation after having spent thousands of dollars on an atrocious experience. I would rather leave than suffer the duration of my lease. Save your valuable time, money, and energy! There are exquisite apartments in close vicinity with a million times better experience.
