Bel-Red Auto License

Not sure why the bad ratings. I must have been there 5-10 times and I never had to wait more than 10 min and the staff always has been friendly and helpful.

I never write reviews let alone thought I would write a positive one for a DMV but Ive been here twice now and both times the people there were so pleasant and helpful. Never thought Id be greeted with a smile while walking into a DMV. I pre ordered my tags this time and walked in and out in less than 2mins but she was so pleasant it brightened my mood for the whole day.

I went recently to get my license plates after buying my car in another state. This has been an overall VERY negative experience. I checked in with them a couple of times to see if they had received all the documents needed from the dealership. I emailed them on January 12th as no one ever answers the phone and was told they haven't received the documents yet. However, the following week the dealership confirmed with proof of delivery that Bel-Red Auto had received the documents on the 12th. This has delayed the process. I went in on January 22nd since they aren't open on weekends just to find out the dealership had sent too much money on the check. Granted, this isn't Bel-Red's fault, but how they handled this situation was extremely poor. They gave me 3 options. I could pay the entire check amount, which is over $3,500, donate the overpayment or send the check back to the dealership. Why couldn't they send the difference back but run the rest of the check? Instead of calling the dealership to tell them they are sending the check back, they mailed it with standard mail. They should have expedited it since because of this mishap, my temporary plates are now expired. They only gave me one option of purchasing a 3-day permit. They act like this is my fault when it isn't. I asked them to email my title lady at the dealership and they didn't even do that. I had to give bel-red's email, so she could contact the DMV. They won't even tell us exactly how much the check needs to be, so the dealership can cut a new check and overnight it. They don't have any empathy, and now I have no options for temporary license plates. This is absolutely appalling!!

Went here to renew my car tabs. Very fast service. Please do remember to take Cash or check Debit and Credit cards have very hefty fees for transactions.
