Bellevue Christian School is an amazing school with staff who care and students who will be friends for life with your kids.  My kids started high school at Bellevue Christian as 9th graders and within no time at all have met kids they would call their best friends and I would say will be their friends for life.  The families are all great quality families of the friends they have met and we have gotten to know.  My kids were involved in several sports and clubs as well as one play.  Being in a smaller setting than the public school it feels like a place we call home now.  The staff go out of their way to make the kids feel cared for and welcome.  Teachers go above and beyond to teach things in an interesting way.  Hands down some of their favorite teachers in all of their time at school so far are here at Bellevue Christian.  Many kids go to our church and we see them at our youth group as well which has been nice.  I would say, if you want your child to feel at home at school, love going to school, and have amazing quality friends they would call lifelong friends, all in a learning environment they enjoy - come to try Bellevue Christian!  They have lots of ways to tailor your schedule to your child's needs as well.  Especially in 10th grade and above, you can switch to honors and AP courses to determine the level of hardness in your schedule even more. 9th grade was a great year to get involved in sports, clubs, theater and other things as well as build up great friendships.  My kids became much better people as a result of going to Bellevue Christian.  I am forever grateful.

A great school. Strong, biblical values with a focus on navigating a complicated world, not avoiding it. Staff and faculty genuinely care about students and love what they do. BCS has consistent direction and a culture of connectedness.

My three children have been at this school for 4 years now and we absolutely love the school. It ended up being a great fit for all three kids after unsuccessful other Christian schools. The biblical approach is not only in the teaching but also the guiding spirit of the schools philosophy. I love that the teachers are Christian and integrate their relationship with the Lord into everything they do with the kids. The other children are wonderful little beings as well. My only criticism is the common core curriculum the kids are taught in. Just not a fan of it.

Student of five years. There's a bizarre social hierarchy among the students. I wouldn't recommend this school due to its unchanged toxicity. The school does an overall poor job when it comes to reaching out to students and making a positive impact on connections and relationships. The school fails to show the severity of bullying and other aspects of being a respectful & decent human being. When an incident comes along, the school will publicly threaten and simply remind students that consequences do exist. They fail to touch the heart and tackle the essence of the issue. Credit to the teachers. Over 90% of my teachers were absolutely wonderful. They're understanding and go above and beyond to accommodate a student who's either depressed or is going through a tough spot in life. They're always there as either an open-ear or a friend. The curriculum was out-of-wack; specifically math & science. In my sophomore year their was a lot of transitioning for the school. I felt I was at a disadvantage based on the order of my math classes (at my level) year-after-year. There's also the element of me not caring and knowing I wouldn't go to college, but when trying (more often than not) I felt defeated and struggled to engage the knowledge BCS provided me and the required work. I do feel the curriculum played a large part in this. I haven't the slightest clue as to why I wrote this. I'm sitting in a comfy chair, bored during the pandemic. Hope this review brought some insight? Peace out home slices.

This school is not really my favorite, because this school wants everyone to use stylus and computer with touchscreen to do tests, and when doing computer tests, it is harder to take notes and notes help me express my thinking especially multiple choice and also the words are sometimes too small and I couldn't even zoom in. And teachers don't really give the time that students need on tests. And every student is different in their own way with their own preferences. One teacher would give only 50% when students don't finish their test by the time. Also, all kids in the same grade have to take the same level of bible class. In the bible class the bible that the school offered me has words that are too small. Sometimes I couldn't even understand the words. So therefore: This school should give kids hard copy test if they need it and the time they need.
