Invitation Homes

So far, not great. I have only just recently begun working with Invitation Homes. Since applying, every step of the process has been painful. The worst part has been the leasing specialist, Allie Tonzi. I have sent repeated emails with questions and requests for information, just to be ignored completely. However, Allie would email me with expectations that I do what she needed within a single business day. Despite putting down my security deposit immediately, my lease wasn't provided to me until 2 days prior to the lease start date(9 days after deposit was paid). Even though I repeatedly attempted to connect with Allie about my concerns related to lack of reasonable time for me to review the lease and do other things(utilities, insurance, etc.), she was again unreponsive. Until I confirmed that my insurance company needed more time, then Allie was prompt to make me feel at fault for the quick turnaround. I attempted to call Invitation Homes themselves to discuss Allie and my lease and was hung up on three times while on hold. I haven't even physically moved in and I am not looking forward to the next year dealing with this.

Russell Davoodi, the Superintendent overseeing the property I'm about to move into, demonstrated exceptional thoroughness by addressing all my inquiries and concerns. He clearly communicated our responsibilities vs Invitation's and did a meticulous walkthrough.

Invitation Homes has been great for the past five years. Any of the issues that have come up have been addressed promptly and the staff is always professional.
