Hawthorne Learning Solutions

Hawthorne Learning Solutions was a great experience - for our child and for us as parents. Our child did 5 weeks of 1:1 sessions, 2x/week (1 day focused on English, 1 day focused on Math), and reported back each time that they learned something new - whether it was subject matter they hadn't learned in school or test taking strategies that made them more confident about taking the SAT. We've received our child's SAT score, and we're all sure that Hawthorne made a huge difference. We're all happy with the result. Also, we appreciated the quick reports we got from Hawthorne after every session, so we felt in the loop along the way.

Hawthorne Learning Solutions has been a great resource for our family for SAT prep. Both kids used their program for SAT including both class and individual prep. Both kids came back with much improved scores. One kid is already in their college of choice and the second now how a score to achieve that same goal.

Matt and Emma do an incredible job helping students and differentiating instructional strategies to help with individual needs. They place a strong emphasis on communication both between tutors and families. They also do a fantastic job selecting the right tutors that meet their high standards and expectations. Both in professionalism and ensuring powerful student learning outcomes. Hawthorne combines strong isntruction with compassion, and sustain safe and successful learning enviornments for students. We are very grateful to Matt, Emma and the tutors at Hawthorne Learning Solutions. Our daughter was struggling with reading during early elementary school and it was starting to effect her abilities in all subjects. We started once per week tutoring sessions with HLS. Over several years, she had many tutors, all who were excellent. When she started, her reading was below grade level. She has now blossomed into a child who reads books for enjoyment and is one of the top students in her class. HLS helped change her academic trajectory and sense of personal accomplishment. We continue to recommend HLS to other friends and families.
