        After discontinuing seeking Beau Robey's help with my disability claim after repeated PTDS triggering I reached out to Steve Hood. On the initial contact with Steve Hood he mentioned he is good friends with Beau. He assured me that the one specific word that is a trigger to me was not part of his regular vocabulary and shouldn't be a problem for him to refrain from using that word especially knowing it is a trauma trigger. I made an appointment with Steve to meet and discuss my case that supposed to happen on 03/07/2023 I called beforehand and on the second contact with Steve Hood he used that word specifically. At that point there was no need to meet and he said I was "too hard to work with". I did record conversations with both of them with their permission documenting what to me feels like mental abuse. I am fearful to post this review. However, I will, because in my opinion knowingly triggering someone in such a way is not only unprofessional, but furthering the mental damage that has already been done as well.

        Steve did a fantastic job with my case. He managed to take over a case that another attorney completely bungled. He was able to take the case to federal court and get it sent back to the ALJ where the case was found fully favorable for me. Thank you, Steve. You were fantastic!

      I apologize to Ms Trepanier by accidentally using the 'trigger' word that induced painful symptoms of her PTSD. I thought that I could avoid using the word, but it is a common word often used to assure someone in response to a self-deprecating statement and/or an apology, both of which she had just said to me in our conversation. She also surprised me because although I made a note of her trigger issue during our first phone call, I was walking outside at the time of the second call and I had not met her yet in person and so I momentarily forgot about that issue. I talk to many people in the course of my work and did not have my notes with me on the street. Because we were already off to a bad start before even signing a contract, I thought that my services would not be right for this person and told her so. Having said that, I also picked up other clues in our second conversation that she would be too difficult to work with, and so I don't regret my decision to cancel our initial appointment. I have no reason to be intentionally cruel to anyone, and especially no reason to be cruel to a potential client. My use of the word in question was strictly an accident. However, I do believe that she did suffer a terrible experience in the past that caused her PTSD condition and that she is legitimately triggered by the particular word in question, and I hope she is able to find the legal and psychological help that she needs.
