Fairhaven Complex

they do not tell you there is a daycare and the children are allowed to roam free and scream as loud as they desire. the dorms are tiny, unclean, and there is a good chance you will find water damage or your heater is busted. smoke detectors half of the time do not work, and the water temperature is busted.

Rooms are small - with the two closet wardrobes, beds, and desks - you have to squeeze past the desk to get in the room. Maybe this works if the beds are arranged on top, bunk style (but then there is no ladder and the beds are tall). Looks dated and in need of a refresh. Shared bathroom is institutional looking - and WWU does not provide soap or (paper) towels or a trash can. Window does not have a screen either. This was move-in day so the room was still getting organized - I'll upload a photo of that another time. Oh - and no elevator which is probably good for encouraging exercise :) The Fairhaven cafeteria is very nice and has large windows looking out into the common area. It appears to be remodeled.

I was walking around at like 2 AM and I first had an encounter where a very beautiful person popped out their window and wished me well on my night. About half an hour later I come across a dorm room full of boys who were keen on assisting me on how to find stack 2, what a blessing those young men are. Anyways, 10/10 love the people

Currently closed, but has small market, student lounge area, eatery, classrooms, theater.

I like the racoons here. One of them was digging through the trash and eating a fruit salad when he suddenly ran up to me and dropped a chunk of pineapple at my feet. I am very grateful to have such a caring friend.
