Trew Auto Body - Bremerton

SHADY BUISNESS PRACTICES Took my car in for work to be done 3 dents to be repaired 2 where repaired but the ding on the door was not. I expressly mentioned the door to the estimator Harry. Upon pickup I learned the door was not repaired and they bait and switched me on the work they said they would do. Trew is acting as if they did nothing wrong, I asked the manager mike to pull up the security camera footage of the estimate and he refused and told me to leave the buisness. Currently working with the BBB to get this resolved, I've called and offered ways to resolve this and Trew is unwilling. They are very shady please don't make the same mistake I did going here.

We have worked with Trew Auto Body not once, but four times on four different cars in 3 different accidents. The office staff is beyond compare and the shop technicians do amazing work. I brought in my 2013 Corvette after being turned away from 3 other body shops who refused to work on it. The rear panel was torn in half and the drivers side door damaged. Trew repaired the body and you can't even tell. They even managed to save the 60th Anniversary kick plate on the door. Trew also did repairs on our Equinox and Intrepid and helped us with totaling our Caravan. The entire staff was courteous, helpful, and highly skilled. We highly recommend Trew Auto Body!

Trew Autobody did an excellent job repairing my Forester after I was rear ended. You would never know the vehicle was ever in an accident, the paint matched perfectly! Their customer service was amazing, which seems so rare these days! The communication from drop off thru the repair process to pick up was top notch, you never wondered where your vehicle was in the process. I had a very minor issue a few months after the repair, and they took care of it right away! I will refer them to anyone looking for autobody work!

I would give them a 1 star if it wasn't for the kind receptionist at the front. I came in for an estimate in hopes of getting repairs done. I guess Kitsap County has low standards with Auto Shops. As soon as I got here I was grilled about my insurance and why I decided not to go through with the first Autoshop that gave me an estimate. They assumed I received a check and that they could not help me if I was assigned to Gerber. I explained that I had not received a check that they did not merge accounts and that I had been going back and forth between Gerber and my insurance until someone recommended this place. I figured let's start new. Well, it was pretty much another lousy experience. The guy started working me over for no reason. He asked why I didn't continue with Gerber and I couldn't even get much out before he cut me off just to say he agreed he may not want to work on my car either. These shops try to be the insurance company and auto shop in Kitsap County. If this was my first rodeo I would think the treatment was normal, well this isn't my first rodeo, just my first in Kitsap County. King and Pierce County provide superior service compared to this shop and Gerber. I mean superior! Not ever, have I had to clean my car before estimates or repairs. In fact, the auto shop would detail the inside and outside of my cars after every repair, which this shop does not. Not ever have I had auto shops act like insurance companies, telling me what my possible options are. Not ever have I been told that they may refuse to do repairs, not ever! After my experience with Gerber and Trew here in Kitsap County I will take my business elsewhere to people who are friendly and want to work and provide superior service. I'm not going to wait another month for someone to be given the runaround like Gerber. The guy kept talking slickly toward me and then smiling to make it seem like he was just being playful. I didn't like it, so I declined to continue business with them. The lady could tell I was confused by my experience she was trying hard to turn it around by explaining things she knew were going over my head because it was repair shop lingo. If everyone acted like they cared and wanted to help like the lady in the front I would have given them 5 stars whether they helped me or not. I just didn't feel welcomed at all. It's okay I want to do business where I am welcomed.
