This is just such a lovely historic bridge with amazing views. Keep in mind d if it's your first time visiting. It's a one lane bridge, so approaching slow looking ahead to see if there's anyone coming ahead is a must. Even if your not into camping it's just nice to take the drive here and enjoying the surroundings

I love nature and this area does not disappoint. A couple decades ago we came across this area quite by accident, and enjoyed it so much we kept going back. The road from Wilkeson to Fairfax bridge and beyond is a regular trip for is, especially if we have out of town guests. I always park at the far end of the bridge and walk back onto the bridge, its extraordinary (and a little scary when cars pass). The views are breathtaking.

Beautiful views, anxiety-laden bridge, fog, PNW stuff

Awesome bridge! Similar to Deception Pass (to Whidbey Island) or Baker Lake dam. Eerie with excellent views! It's a long way down!
