My experience at the School I went to this school up until the 7th grade, I hate to say it but I am so glad I left. I am writing this on the behalf of myself and some friends I have who are still currently going there unlike me. If you are rowdy, careless, and rude but manage to get good enough grades, then you will probably manage just fine at this school. I am sure that there is some quieter kids who had an okay experience, but I and many others were constantly living with bullies, stress, and many other issues the school had provided for us if you get what I mean. I remember they would sometimes take away our recesses because we didn't walk in a "single file line", attempting fitting 60 plus students in a completely single file line (which is about the amount per class of 4-6th graders at Madrona). The recesses that they had taken away were used to discuss why we hadn't been in a perfectly single file line, or sometimes to "practice single file lines". This wasn't the worst of some of the things that went on, it infuriates me that the break in which were meant to be spent outside to talk with friends or exercise were being used to stand single file lines doing nothing like prisoners. As for bullying for me it was just more emotional stuff, but some people were going through psychical bullying. ~I would like to add that maybe Madrona has changed sense then but based on the information from my friends who are still going there, I doubt that it has changed or possibly ever will :\.~
