Joyful Academy of Music

My daughter who is now 3.5 yrs old, started her piano class here at Joyful Academy of music a month ago.I was very anxious about how she would follow the instructions and learn an instrument at this early age.But Miss Sarah, Miss Loria and Miss Rachel proved it to me that age is just a number and I am so proud to tell that my daughter has already performed her first recital even before she turned 3.5 yrs.She seemed so confident and happy during her performance and all this comes only with a great support from her mentors.Everything at JAM is so well managed and they are so disciplined in their class management, which I love.They are always super welcoming and always ready to help.Kudos to the wonderful team and thanks for all your efforts to hold our child's hand into the world of music.

I am an employed teacher at Joyful Academy. I can say it is certainly a lovely experience and such a warm welcoming environment for all the kids that come in! Every teacher there is excited to see and talk to the students, and we love celebrating accomplishments of our students too! Every day your student comes in they will be greeted with smiles and high fives. Everyone is there to learn, whether that's piano, guitar, or drums, but we do our best to make learning an enjoyable experience for our students. We play lots of games and like to have fun! And if a student isn't having fun or is struggling with a song, we will make some changes and try something new because we care about our students and their investment in learning! The whole studio always has such a welcoming and cheerful environment, and we love talking to everyone! Students all play in the same room, and we frequently encourage student interactions with each other with games and the daily question! (usually something fun to help everyone get to know each other better. Something like: would you rather have cake or ice cream?) Not only is Joyful an amazing experience for your child to learn an instrument, adults can feel free to start lessons too! Music is for everyone, there is no such thing as being too old to start learning. I'd highly recommend Joyful Academy of Music for anyone interested in learning piano, guitar, or drums!

I have been taking and teaching lessons with Joyful Academy of Music for 6 years now! I took my first lessons back when there were only 20 or 30 students and the Preston's were teaching out of the downstairs of their house. With the Preston's kindness and vast knowledge I was able to explore music in a positive and growth cultivating environment. When I learned that the Preston's were expanding, I was excited to join their teaching team. The Preston's continue to foster an exciting and community-building environment that is amazing to be a part of. I am extremely grateful for the Joyful Academy of Music in my life and cannot recommend it enough!
