Port Gardner K-12 Parent Partnership Program

I am SO grateful we discovered Port Gardner School! My son is in 3rd grade here, and is taking (or has taken) Spanish, drama, and hands-on, environmental science, in addition to the subjects we do at home. The staff and teachers are wonderful and willing to go the extra mile to support homeschoolers (especially new ones, like us). They have great options for onsite classes, a vibrant PTSA, and all the community you hope for in a brick and mortar school. Port Gardner has helped me gain confidence, both in my choice to homeschool, and in teaching itself.

Port Gardner is an excellent Parent Partnership Program. It offers the ability for home schooling parents, or those who would like to home school in certain subjects, to have assistance in designing and purchasing curriculum and having teachers in subjects they may not excel in teaching at home. It provides the children with a school setting in which they can interact with other children, and offers official grading and graduation in order to ease transitions into college for those who are concerned about the next step.
