4 stars because it's amazing how we smoked meth for 3 straight Days with no sleep and how he's able to go instruct new pilots and still not crash. It's amazing or it's amazing dope!!

I highly recommend Rainier to everyone I meet who is interested in getting involved in aviation. The instructors and staff all create an atmosphere that is fun and inclusive of different people and learning styles, with safety always at the forefront. The instructors are all very dedicated to their work and it really shows. I am so happy I chose to get my sport pilot certificate with Rainier, and I will definitely be back when it is time to upgrade to private and then instrument ratings!

I recently earned my Private Pilots License through Rainier Flight Service with CFI Tim Nelson. Tim and the entire staff at RFS are professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly. I always felt safe while flying in any of the planes knowing they are well maintained and that the CFIs are well qualified. Throughout my training Tim went out of his way to make sure I was getting good value, having my expectations met, helping me to learn and showing me some of the cool benefits of general aviation. I would not hesitate to recommend the flight school to any prospective students. Thanks to Tim and the whole staff there for helping me along the way.

I have been flying with Rainier Flight Services for the past 3 years now. I have my private pilots license and have continued flying with Rainier instructors when I can to stay proficient. I thought I would phase that portion of my proficiency out after getting my license however I find myself learning or experiencing something completely new with each instructed flight. Over the last 3 years I have flown with 10 different instructors and they have all been great however Tim Nelson who recently moved from Rainiers Renton location to their Tacoma Narrows location is one of the main reasons I have transitioned over there as well. Hes a wealth of knowledge, humble and kind. Hes made me a better pilot and I could not be more grateful to have him on the Rainier team.
