Dr Koo is an exceptionally skilled and caring Surgeon who specializes in Shoulder repair and treatment. His years of professional experience and calm demeanor were huge factors in choosing him to do my shoulder replacement surgery. He takes the time to answer any and all questions, and was reassuring and accurate in providing information. When I had concerns post op re: pain, he listened calmly and ordered X-rays to evaluate the situation. When all turned out fine, he remained thoughtful, caring and encouraging. At all my appointments, he arrived promptly, and his very kind staff, Jennefer & Gemma, also provided helpful information, answered emails and calls as promised. This is quality, patient focused care, and I highly recommend this team if you need shoulder surgery.

When I thought I might need shoulder surgery I really did my homework! I chose Dr. Koo based on what I learned. I don't think I could have made a better choice. He fully explained why I needed a shoulder replacement and answered all my questions. He's an EXCELLEMT surgeon! BONUS, he accepts Medicare as do the anesthiologists he uses. He was specific as to what my physical therapist should do during my recovery. His PA-C Claudia Kalotay is also exceptional.

The entire office staff has been extremely helpful. If I had any questions or concerns they get back to me really fast. The team seems to be very efficient. I just had my one year check up. Dr. Koo did a great job on my shoulder hardly any scar.
