Timberline Baptist Church

My husband and I are new members of this church. This church is biblically sound and full of loving, caring people. They do announcements that advertise events and include the cost in the announcements and people have a choice to sign up. J. Rose's review is not true. Money is never solicited there and no one is indoctrinated. All of the teens that I have seen there during service are taking notes and paying attention; none of them looked bored to me. I question if she was even there because I have never once experienced any of the negativity that she did. This is a wonderful group of believers!

If you want to be in a church body that "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37) and where the Bible is preached and applied to your life every week, then Timberline Baptist is where your walk with God will grow.

NO service for middle and high school except during the week. Poor teens and teens are left sitting 1.5 hours with you bored to tears. The people are very nice and good pastor BUT, service all 3 times was soliciting this event $$ or that event $$ and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus membership classes, discipleship courses $$ of course again...small church with profit vibes and slight indoctrination feels. Give me that old timey Christianity. Could be great without that and something for the older children. We liked it, but chose to travel 30 minutes daily to a more traditional Baptist church. Baptist church don't feel right unless they have morning Bible study and regular services without the children (minus evening service).
