I've been to this clinic a few times and saw Naeyon Kim, the nurse practitioner. She spent less than 5 min with me each time. I didn't think she really listened to anything I said and didn't care. I have health concerns I would like to talk to my doctor about, but I honestly don't think she would even listen to me or look into things throughly. I didn't show to my last appt, honestly because I didn't see the point in being ignored again, and they have spent more time asking me to pay the $25 fee (3 times in 2 days) then they did for all of my appts combined. I'll be paying the fee this week and looking for a new provider.

I really had to think hard about this review and honestly the more I thought about it the more frustrated I got. Initially I was very excited about this clinic because all the people were super nice and made me feel very welcome. Unfortunately after that initial impression it seemed like one issue after another. On my second visit, they gave my discharge paperwork to another patient, and gave me his. I noticed it as I was leaving but at that point the other person had already left. This is a pretty big HIPAA violation, I was willing to over look it, but looking back I should have ceased services. On my third visit they needed to draw more blood, the first time they drew blood the nurse that did it was excellent and listened to my needs however on this visit it was a different person. I attempted to explain how to get blood from me but was not listened to. After three people including the doctor digging around looking for a vein I was sent to a blood draw clinic and left with a huge bruise that didn't go away for almost a week. On my final visit the doctor wanted to talk about weight loss. I am a big guy and always have been, my health is perfect, but she was concerned. I explained that I was willing to explore this but I do not take drugs that are amphetamines or opioids because I am in recovery. The doctor assured me there would be options and suggested a drug with side effects that sounded very amphetamine-like, I expressed my concerns but felt like she wasn't hearing me. She said it wasn't and sent the script to my pharmacist. As soon as I left I looked it up and it sure was in the same family, with the same potential for abuse. I never picked up the meds As I left that time they asked to follow up in two weeks once I started the med. Because I never picked it up, I did not follow up. The appointment for follow up was on a Tuesday, I called the Thursday and Friday before leaving a message each time because no one answered, finally on Monday I got the receptionist and cancelled the appointment. Then I was charged a $50 no show fee. That was the last straw for me. I decided I would not go back. Not surprisingly a week later I got a bill for my appointments and the late fee and when I called to dispute it was told "it takes time to process insurance and the bill would not be changed" I was also told I had 10 days to pay it or it would go to collections. This hostility pissed me off. You give me repeated HIPPA violations and refuse to listen... It takes you weeks to bill me and you add on charges... but you want me to pay NOW. I don't think so. They can go ahead and send it to collections, it won't be the first or the last. That being said I recommend finding someone else. I went to Indigo after this and had just as friendly staff, quicker service, and was listened to when I shared my concerns.

Felt rushed. Way too pricey for an initial appointment which is essentially just me filling out a form.

I am leaving this review after a combination of several experiences. The only reason I rated two stars and not one is because the office and other support staff are absolutely phenomenal. They are why I thought Id have a good experience when my primary care provider stopped taking my insurance and this was the only place in town accepting new patients who also took my insurance. The first concerning experience I had was with the NP practitioner who runs the clinic seemed rushed both times I met with her. She only spent five or less minutes with me each time and both times the information I provided her with and asked for were completely missed by her when I left the clinic. The second appointment I asked for a referral for a concerning condition that severely impacts my quality of life, because they did not do the lab work I had requested the first appointment that she said theyd most certainly do. This referral did not happen. I had to send a message begging them to follow through and expressing my concern over being dismissed before they did send the referral in for me. When asking for continued care for certain issues Id had addressed with my previous provider, I was told each issue needed its own appointment. Why? Especially when the NP spends less than 5 minutes with me and doesnt have any level of care to follow through on her word. I made one appointment a few weeks ago which I absolutely did not show for due to the anxiety of showing up and knowing I would have to heavily advocate for myself again. I knew that I would have a no show fee - no problem. I get a notification via email two or three days ago, plan to pay next Friday when I get paid (budget for it like a normal human you know), they send two more notifications over the next 24 hours with two more already today. Completely unprofessional. They operate like a collection agency. My other medical providers allow at least two weeks for payment - its never been an issue before. With the facts stated, my personal opinion is that the NP is in practice just for the money and doesnt care for their patients. If you are in a pinch you may be better off traveling out of your way for care if you can find another provider.

Hello Stephanie, Im sorry to hear this. We try our best to make sure our patients be seen with the care they need and try our best to make sure our provider gives time for our patients. We apologize if you were not satisfied with our performance. As for the billing, we are contracted with a company named Healow. We send out statements once a month and they send out the messages according to our contract. We apologize about the billing issue. Thank you

Hello Mr Cochran. My name is Paul and I am the manager of Lacey Family Clinic. I was reviewing your claims and am extremely disturbed by this review. I promise there will be a thorough investigation on this matter. I have also attempted to contact you further about this situation to see if I could gather more information. I will also interview the provider who was involved as well as the staff member who has assisted you during your time of care. Those who were involved will get further education or be reprimanded on there actions depending on circumstances. Please be aware we do not wish this on any patients and we take this kinds of issues very seriously. I have also removed your late fee charges from your accounts. I will personally make sure that all staffs are trained in this matter so that future patients will not experience this issue again. Once again I do apologize for this issue and thank you for addressing this matter. For further issues or concerns please feel free to contact me at the clinics number and option 3 for billers/providers. Thank you

Hello Mr Harrell. I believe I spoke with you earlier today. I am sorry to hear that you felt rushed during your appointment. We do try our best to make patients feel at ease when seen by our health care professionals. As for the payment, if using insurances we are unable to control how much the cost is for your visit. This should be discussed with your insurance company on initial visits and deductibles of your contract with your insurance companies. We at our clinic did give a small discount for you deductible. Normally we are unable to touch your deductible due to the contract we both have with our insurance company but was done to help you due to your concerns. Once again we do apologize if you felt this way and if still willing will attempt to make your next visit more enjoyable. Thank you

Hello Stephanie, we are sorry to hear that this issue has happened to you. We will look into some of the matters that have concerned you and hopefully fix this issue for future patients. As for the billing, we work with healow company with billing and there system in sending out bills. They notified our clinic that they send out the bills once created three ways. Once by text, then email, then phone. We do apologies as its a contract that we made with there company and it gets sent out in 2 to 3 days once we create the bill. We normally try to send them out once a month due to this knowledge. We hope you do have a better experience if you decide to continue with our clinic, but if not we do understand and hope you have a better experience in the future. Thank you for choosing Lacey Family Clinic for your care.
