All I can say is, dont waste your time or money. The owner is non-responsive, abusive, uses the cheapest materials and blames the client for any and all problems. I wanted to use a local business for my backyard irrigation, but now i am still hand watering because of lack of coverage and pressure. I've had two other professional landscapers over that confirmed my suspicions. Buyer beware. Hope this helps. I do not enjoy writing negativity.....

Owner is a nice guy, he does try to accommodate your schedule and is fairly expedient when it comes to completing the job. Work that was done on my property was the fence, leveling and re seeding front and back yard and repairing small retaining wall in the back yard. Job was done while i was away for work so i didn't see it first hand until i got back. Job was done in early April. So now, onto the problems... Retaining wall that was leaning was fixed but 2 of the railroad ties were damaged. I guess the owner did not see it necessary to ask me if he should replace them at extra cost, which i would have. I also had to try to make one end of it look somewhat presentable since the one small end piece was just left sitting off to the side. The fence, my biggest problem. I believe the cheapest available materials were used. Boards started bowing and cracking within 2 months of the job being completed. On one section of the fence none of the boards were lined up at the bottom, all were at different heights. At first i thought he did that because he tried to line them up at the top, but after i got home i realized the top was cut to make it level. On one of the other sections boards were nailed into a rotted 2x4 and came off about a month in, should have been replaced. Overall fence looks poor, I think I could have done a better job myself never having done a fence job before. After I came home I asked the owner of the company to stop by so I could show him what my problems with the fence were. He seemed somewhat surprised by my issues but told me the problems would be corrected. One of the problems was fixed in June, section with boards not lined up at the bottom. However his guys that came out did not feel it was necessary to fix the section with boards coming off of the rotted out 2x4. I think one of the biggest issues with The Yard Guy is that he has people working for him that do not care at all about the quality of work they do for the company. You can barely get into my back yard because the latch was reattached in the wrong spot, you have to pull entire gate up to open it. That didn't seem to strike them as something they should fix. Section they worked on fixing was about 15 feet away from the other section that required attention but somehow they did not notice it. If they were sent to fix the job one would think they would address all the issues that I brought up. Another issue with the company is an owner who thinks that the job he did here is an acceptable representation of his work, craftsmanship(or lack of it) and his employees. I finally gave up waiting, fixed the latch, replaced the 2x4, and now I'm stuck with an ugly looking fence.
