I understand this company is under new management now, and I had a wonderful experience with The Gardener's Trust! They were knowledgeable, prompt, and the talent was off the charts. Their rates were fair, and had answers to all my questions. I have recommended them to all my family and friends. What a great experience!

As I was walking my dog one of their employees claimed I was using my dog to attack them and proceeds to threaten me. Things escalate and the employee then proceeds to charge me and pull out a knife telling me to get off the sidewalk. I said the sidewalk is public property, the employee then gets mad and throws a rake at me injuring my left arm and causing a cut on my right arm.
I don't think any action will ever justify an employee reacting like this. This is a very unprofessional company that has a tendency to hire violent people.
A police case was filed with the Olympia Police department.

After hearing their response :
("Yes, my team called and filed a police report after you verbally harassed and then maced a member of my team, seemingly unprovoked. My employee then did what he deemed necessary to defend himself against you and your dog which you were ordering to attack. You then followed my employee as he attempted to contact police and he again defended himself after you held mace in his face again. Luckily paramedics deemed my employee ok after your attack. You then proceeded to call and leave voicemails and emails in regards to this incident attempting to get this employee fired. Now you are leaving negative reviews all over town about this company because you attacked my employee and left the seem of a crime while police where on the way. This incident will be handled accordingly.")
I can't help but chuckle. I didn't know walking my dog was considered "threatening".
But when someone opens a knife and charges me, I will defend myself and spray you in the face. The pepper spray is used to neutralize a threat, and it worked well. And as I went around to look at the company name on your company truck, which is on public property, that's when your employee threw his metal rake at me, injuring my left arm, screaming I am trespassing.
As for calling your company, the reason is to inform you of the violent act your employee just displayed. If I was his boss, I'd want to know this information. To consider this as harassment speaks volumes of your character and insecurities.
You also stated I was going around town giving bad reviews, this is a display of your desire to exaggerate the story to make it fitting, because all I did was go on Google reviews and share my experience.
There's always two sides to a story, but for a "professional" company to react like this and not even have any form of apology, I do not believe it's justified. Hence the reason I'm writing this review.
As the officers stated, your stories between your employees are inconsistent. But once again, you weren't there.
I recommend resilience and de-escalation training for your guys, to prevent things like this in the future.
You also stated I left the scene of the crime, but how did I speak with officers and clear the issue if I wasn't present. Seems like another exaggeration. Make it make sense.

I had Gardner's Trust fix my underground sprinkler system. They did a good job, showed up when they said they would and completed the work for a fair price. Definitely recommend them.

It's been awhile since this happened, but I have not forgotten them cleaning the roof at my place of employment and blowing all the debris down onto my brand new car. I was in so much shock at my filthy covered car, I drove straight to the car wash. Multiple knicks in the paint from the debris cover my passenger side. Thanks a lot!
