Found this park by accident wandering a path of curiosity and exploration. Cozy n quiet I found it to be a comfy place to chillaxe before foregoing my next adventure. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space for you and your doggies to get that outdoor quality time in. Picnic area: No real specific picnic area that I saw, however the park has such a beauty to it you need only find your spot, get comfy, n enjoy your meal.

Ok not going to lie but I hate writing bad reviews but sometimes I do when I feel like this needs to be heard. Anyways I'm giving this place a 1 star because it is full of homeless and druggies which makes it impossible for the rest of us to enjoy the park. I was riding my bike through there and had a crazy homeless person ask me for money and I said no and then he was saying some random stuff so he was clearly out of his mind. I immediately peddled as fast as I could. The I-5 trail that connects to this park is a disaster as well so many homeless people camping there and it's full of trash. I highly recommend only doing the Chehalis Trail and Woodland Trail but even then you have to be careful because depending on where u are there can sometimes be crazy people there too. Very sad what this world has come to.
