Great community and property management staff. It is supposed to be a non smoking community, but so many residents break the no smoking rules. Many residents smoke cigarettes and Marijuana routinely, and it comes in our windows, or seeps through the walls, or is evident in hallways, etc. Many residents who own dogs take their animals for bathroom breaks to landscaped areas not designated for this purpose. Finally, whatever contractor did the concrete work in the parking garage did an incredibly horrible job, ignoring the need for adequate drainage of water from snow and rain. The large puddles of water after any snow storm are annoying at least and will probably cause damage to the concrete long term, requiring earlier replacement. So close to 5 stars, but I expect more for the amount of rent we all pay. Update: The garage doors, as well as some elevators, are frequently out of service and needing to be repaired. Poorly designed, cheap equipment? Used equipment? One of the heaters in the building A secondary P1 elevator lobby has not worked in more than a year and has never been repaired. One of the "secure" access gates in one of the building A stairwells was vandalized/broken weeks after it was installed, and has yet to be repaired after months. Also, these apartments were billed as having upscale features, layouts, materials, etc. Some of the amenities--community rooms, games room, etc., are truly luxury level, but the apartment homes themselves, although there are some very nice features, have the most basic, faux stainless steel kitchen appliances, with no ice makers in the refrigerator/freezers, and no ceramic cook tops. Again, for the amount of rent we all pay, I actually expect more, and I expect access to our garage, and to our homes via stairwells and elevators, to be more promptly and thoroughly maintained and repaired.

I have been a resident since September 2022. I signed a one year lease and then renewed for 6 months out of convenience until I found elsewhere to live. I want to express that this review will be completely transparent of my personal experience with the unit, staff, and all other areas. I move out in about 2-3 weeks so I might as well. It terms of the area, it is a great spot. You're close to all your essentials such as costco, home depot, furniture stores, the mall, and even yummy restaurants within a 15 minute drive. The apartment itself has a lot of modern amenities that are always kept clean. The gym is small but it has what you need. Lounge areas are very nice to just sit and chill. What captured my attention is the unit itself. It could be that I was the first one to rent my unit but aside from the cleanliness, I found a huge liking to the kitchen and modern touches of the space itself. I shared a 2br 2br with a roomie and it was more than enough space for us. Our unit was "Dahlia". 5/5 for the looks. Everyone I have came across as a neighbor has been very nice. For me, there is not much noise but that also could've just been because I was lucky with quiet neighbors. Since I live on top of the leasing office I sometimes hear a lot of noise outside but nothing that's constant. There is a good mix of college students, adults, and families living at this complex. There were a couple times when I encountered weird people in the parking garage (randoms) but now that we have patrol/security 24/7, I have felt much safer. I come home late on weekends and never feel scared to park and enter my unit knowing the security is always there. Loved that. 5/5 for the community (neighbors)! Now the staff. Being here for 1+ years I have seen some staff leave and some new ones come. My experience is that if you need something, you have got to call or better yet just come in. One time I got an invalid charge on my rent for having no renters insurance. I emailed them proof letting the staff know I did and got no response for days. I finally came in and was informed they saw the email but just didn't email me back. I brushed it off since they confirmed with me they would put the credit back on my rent for the upcoming month. Fast forward, they did not do this and still charged me the same amount of invalid renters fee and didn't even credit for the last month. I will have to go back to confront them on my final month but seriously, this is a hassle. Their package system got better but not the best unless you're ordering from amazon. Amazon gives you a parcel and code to enter so that's nice. For other deliveries, it will be locked up at a specific hour I assume to avoid any possible package thieves. For someone that comes home late, I can never pick up my packages and since the office is closed - I'd have to wait for a day where I can get them not while working. A bit annoying but I guess there isn't much they can do about it. I had a package once that I could not pick up and they locked in up the back office without emailing me. I had to wait till someone could help me to retrieve the package. I understand there's a lot of people living here and not much space for everyone's packages but an email would be nice for your resident's, no? I really thought someone stole my packages lol. I just wished they would've sent out a public email they did that for communication. In general, staff for me 3.5/5. Side notes: - the alarm system goes off so much that residents don't even leave their units anymore lol The reason for not renewing my lease is, to be transparent, just cause I found a nearby complex that is better. The rent is a little cheaper, larger unit space, WAY more amenities, ridiculously cheaper parking fees, and more proficient fob/buzz in system for friends/family to come over along with it being a much nicer complex/unit space in general. I'm not saying The Woods is a bad complex, I am just saying do all your research on places nearby before you commit! Thanks for reading. :)
