I have 2 kids at MELC. One started at 4 months and the other at 2(ish) years. This is our third daycare and given our experiences I can firmly say that this place takes the cake.The infants teachers are some the kindest souls. They love our babies and form strong bonds with each child. When my son is sick they are truly concerned and reach out. I never have to worry about my baby in their care and they have helped him develop in so many ways.My daughter has been in three classrooms so far as she has graduated from her initial room. Each time we move up to the new classroom I worry about it, but then am consistently blown away by the lead teacher. They have partnered with us in potty training and I love the diversity and nutrition in their daily food menu. The chef is phenomenal and deserves a special shout out!I highly recommend this school and welcome you to reach out if you have questions.

I recommend doing a thorough research before sending your kids here. I pulled my kids out for several reasons. There were questionable incidents that I let go, which I wish I hadn't and should have reported them immediately. If I had known about this website, I would have never enrolled my kids in the first place. findchildcarewa.orgHigh turnover. They said my son needs OT twice a week so we've been paying for OT and speech weekly for months. The staff like to shame parents if their kids aren't "well behaved." They have sent my son and other kids home or "suspended" them. What kind of "school" does that instead of working with the parents. He just got evaluated by Alderwood Early Childhood Center and guess what? He doesn't qualify for services because they said he doesn't need it. If you have a job where you cannot leave abruptly to pick up your child once a week, then this is not the place, plus they lied about never raising the tuition above 10%. My son never had any "behavior" problems at his previous daycare. We put him at MELC because it was closer to our house. He is also thriving at his new preschool and it's also cheaper. The only place where he had "behavior" problems was at MELC which is why I question their experience and teaching method.
