Taco Del Mar - Mill Creek

The tin foil used to wrap my burrito smells like an old wet rag. Two visits in a row. This establishment could use a refresher on sanitization. Otherwise burrito was good, although a little heavy on the rice.

first time trying this place, got the wet burrito and it was THE BIGGEST burrito ive ever seen. Great price for amount of food and toppings you get to choose! Burrito was delicious!!

Very rude and poor service. The lady here did not accept the Groupon and asked us to use the Groupon meant for this location to be used at some other nearby Taco del mar.

We have been coming to this Taco del Mar for years. For some reason, in the last year, there has been a ton of inconsistency with the food, and it has not just been this local TdM (the one in downtown Everett has had similar issues). They changed the chicken several times. Once it was like precooked chicken breast strips like you might get in from the grocery store mixed in with their regular shredded chicken. Recently, it was like they redid the whole spice blend and the chicken tasted extremely tomato-y, like chili or even bolognese sauce. I couldn't finish my burrito bowl it was so weird. I really wish they would just go back to the previous chicken mix. It was awesome and had great flavor. As far as food is concerned, I'd give this a 1 or 2 star rating, depending on which version of chicken they're using this week. It's all over the place, unfortunately. As far as service, there are two folks who have worked at this location for years and they are the nicest, friendliest people. The cleanliness at this location is way better than other fast food joints in the area. I would absolutely give the service 5 stars. Update: September 2023. Had feelings that the chicken was a little too cool temperature wise. We went there last night and think we might have gotten mild food poisoning.
