This friendly worker named Garret helped me out with a bass and amp. he was very helpful in taking my amp to the car. give Garret a raise, he deserves it.

I am a beginning orchestra student and I was looking for a cheap instrument to rent. I was very pleased to see that Kennelly keys had that. However, when we bought the rented instrument for cheaper than it would have been, the person on the phone said we could replace parts if they weren't working that great for free. I went to replace my bow because it wouldn't tighten and we told him how the person on the phone said we could replace it, and he straight out denied that and said we had no such offer, even when we told him more specifically he said no. Even when there was a clear problem. Poor communication system between its own employees and not very understanding staff

Exchanged our rental trumpet towards buying a new one and had great service during the busy start of school season. Cody was very helpful and we are happy with our purchase.

I brought my guitar in for a set up and pickup replacement. I was told because of back to school, it would take more than a week. The tech called me and was friendly, letting me know that the pickups I wanted to swap were not as good as the ones I had already. This is a new guitar, so I didnt know what pickups it had. It also came with a second pair. I digress. We agreed that he would not replace the pickups and start the set up. He said I could pick it up the next day. I picked up the guitar and was charged for 1.5 hours of labor. That seemed fair. However, when I got home, there were several issues: not in tune, dead notes below the 12th fret, and it was not cleaned. Granted, he replaced the strings so Ill forgive the tuning issues. But the action was not proper, so the guitar was unplayable. I adjusted the action on my own, and its fine. Im just disappointed. I feel like I shouldnt have to do any work after paying $150. I also cant believe that an hour+ of work was performed since intonation was off and the trem/bridge had finger prints everywhere. I appreciate the polish job on the fretboard, the rosewood has never looked better. Other than that, it looked very similar to when I brought it in. Last of all, I called the store. I was told that the tech left for the day. I asked the gentleman on the phone if he could diagnose the issue. He said Id have to bring it in. I dont see the point now. This was my first and likely only experience with this store. Theres context to everything and I know things get missed, but this gives me little confidence in returning. I have several guitars I wanted to bring in and have work done on. But Ill teach myself.
