We recently engaged Bee Safe Education & Training for a CPR and First Aid session for our preschool staff, led by Sheila. The training turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience for several reasons. From the outset, Sheilas early arrival and visible frustration at our teams unpreparedness negatively impacted the sessions tone. Her approach to teaching was far from engaging; instead of active instruction, Sheila predominantly relied on video content and appeared disinterested. A particularly problematic aspect was the quiz segment, where she had our staff, some without prior training, read out their answers and then subjected those with incorrect responses to ridicule.
Respect and sensitivity were notably lacking in Sheilas conduct. She was dismissive about a staff members eyesight, then later berated a team member who was struggling to understand her instruction, saying You are failing miserably. This exacerbated an already tense atmosphere. This lack of consideration extended to her interaction with our younger staff. Her treatment of a 16-year-old trainee was harsh and demeaning, leaving the young team member feeling belittled and small.
Furthermore, Sheilas professionalism was questioned post-training when she insisted on charging for a prospective employee who did not attend the session, exhibiting an unfounded concern over payment. This entire experience, marked by unprofessionalism and a lack of educational value, leads us to the decision that we cannot recommend Bee Safe Education & Training. We hope our feedback is taken constructively and leads to future improvements in their service.

The training was full of knowledge and easy to follow. The hands-on assignments and educational videos made the class easy to attend. Our instructor was very organized and showed experience.
