We had an amazing experience working with Robert and Marcella! Not only did our project turn out incredible, they fit us into their schedule, delivered incredible results and finished ahead of schedule when the original timeline was one week! Robert is an incredibly hard worker and listens to his customers. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary from the lake thanks to them! We highly recommended Brownscape!!!

It's not often that you find a contractor who does what they say and does it well. Brownscape is that contractor.

I could never in good faith recommend Brownscape. If you choose to take a chance on them make sure you get every bit in writing on the invoice because when they come to bid the job they fill you with a bunch of "oh sure we can do that, sure we can do this" but then after getting the job they do half of what was agreed upon. I had them do some leveling of a lot, we discussed exactly how we wanted it,  we all agreed what was to be done an how much of the lot was to be done, they took it upon themselves to determine what our "useable" space was and leveled only that part verses what they agreed to level when applying for the job, when I talked to them all ya get is "check the invoice we did what we were hired to do" so make sure you put in writing exactly what you want an what they agree to otherwise they write "level lot" then claim they did what they were hired to do. I specifically said I don't want a drop off I want it sloped, they agreed to that but left a huge drop off stating for several more thousand they can haul in dirt an bring that area up, conveniently he claimed to have a job just "down the road" and there was a bunch of dirt he had to remove from that job he could bring to our job for $400 a truck load and claimed we would Need 10-12 truck loads so roughly another 4 grand for dirt. We also stated we wanted to keep our deck and railing, they claimed they couldn't save the railing (even tho it was brand new) so they just sawed it off an threw it away verses taking it apart like  agreed. They seem to make a lot of excuses,  then blame the customer, we paid them just shy of 8 grand to knock down a very small shed, move a square deck (which they later claimed  was a "throw in" not included in the bid), and  they didn't level it anywhere close to what they agreed to when bidding the job,  as a business owner myself I'd be ashamed of the work done and certainly would never blame the customer. Our only wish is we would have went with a more honest company, one that keeps their word on what's to be done. Make sure you get in writing the details they agree to otherwise they will just write "level lot" on your invoice then claim they did the work they were hired to do, we paid just shy of 8 grand and got at most 4 grand worth of work. Our neighbor asked us who did it, their looking for someone to demolish a structure and sadly I had to direct them elsewhere as the saying "you get what ya pay for" doesn't always stand true, we got less than half of what we paid for and their response to negative reviews is always blaming the customer.

We hired Brown Scape to do a tear-down of a home and various out-buildings in preparation for the land to become part of a green space/trail head. They were great to work with and communicated continually. We loved that they took a special 'ownership' of the project and offered a lot of options that added up to some savings, to balance of some surprises we had along the way.
