I just wanted to take a moment to share some positive thoughts about Char Glo, the incredible beauty school that I've had the privilege of attending. This place is truly amazing and unique in every way. Firstly, the owners of Char Glo are absolutely fantastic. They have always emphasized the importance of giving 110% in everything the students do, and they truly believe that when students put in that extra effort, they will receive 110% benefit from our education. Their dedication and passion for our success is truly inspiring. When it comes to cleanliness and hygiene, Char Glo sets the bar high. The establishment is always impeccably clean, and there's a constant focus on maintaining a germ-free environment. As someone who values cleanliness, this aspect of Char Glo gives me great peace of mind. One thing that never fails to astound me is the incredible work produced by the students at Char Glo. Each one of them is so talented and creative in their own unique way. It's a testament to the quality of education and training they receive at this school. Moreover, I can't say enough about the professionalism and exceptional customer service provided by the instructors & staff. They go above and beyond to ensure that each student is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry. Their dedication and commitment to our growth is truly commendable. Char Glo has been in existence for nearly 45 years, and they are still going strong. This speaks volumes about their reputation and the wonderful people who make up this establishment. I have never encountered any problems during my time here, and I am grateful to be surrounded by such amazing individuals. To sum it up, Char Glo is not just a beauty school; it's a place of inspiration and growth. It pushes us to be the best version of ourselves and provides us with the tools to achieve greatness in the beauty industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible institution. Keep shining and keep striving for excellence!

*Editing to respond to the back-handed apology comment from the salon.* I am disappointed in the response to my review. I started off by saying that 2 of the girls were amazing and professional. My complaint about the one employee/student are not based on assumptions or unfounded judgements. This was our actual experience. She was rude to my grandmother, she was rude and spoke disrespectfully to her co-workers and to the elderly woman, who I believe is the owner. She was complaining about how sick she was, as she was coughing, into her hands and then touching my grandmother's head and hair WITHOUT washing her hands.. despite the fact that there were no paper towels in the customer restroom, we still saw with our own eyes... her coughing into her hands and touching our grandmother, without washing her hands. These aren't assumptions. This was our actual experience with her behavior and poor hygiene. To the point of some stylists not performing updos these days.. that could have been communicated when the appointments were made, specifically for updos. (And two of the 3 stylists were actually capabable and willing to do them, and did great). We understand it is a school and we do not expect the same quality as a salon. But professionalism and common courtesy, a positive attitude, as well as a desire to LEARN how to do something new.. Are, in my opinion, a standard your school should strive for, rather than making excuses and attempting to invalidate my personal experience. I went to get my hair done with my grandma and sister. Mine and my sister's hairdressers were great but my Grandma's was very unprofessional. We went to get Updos and her hairdresser told her that she wouldn't give her an updo, not even willing to compromise. She was coughing in her hands and not even washing them when she went over to curl her hair. Another one told her she wasn't even able to do the updo.(You're a hairdresser, if you can't do hair then your not a hairdresser.) The hairdresser was even talking about how sick she was while coughing in her hands. The bathroom had no paper towels so we know they aren't washing their hands. Very unprofessional and gross. I feel bad for my grandma because she was very excited about getting her hair done, and they ruined her experience. The sick hairdresser was rude to my grandma and the owner of the place openly. Like, it's so ridiculous how some people can be!
