This is directed to Chip with his one star rating. First of all, it's difficult to get insurance to cover accupuncture. Especially Medicare, as far as I know. I don't even know if you can. I doubt Middle Way is sabotaging you. Secondly, their Tuesday session is 'free'. Although I give a small donation. These people are great. The clinic is great.

I am a 2nd year student at Middle Way Acupuncture Institute. Two days ago, My back went out, to the point that I was crawling on my hands and knees. I had classes to attend the next day. The pain and immobility was so bad the next morning that I was 4 hours late to class. When I came to check in for class, I was asked if I wanted a treatment from a 3rd year student or to attend class. I took the treatment. My pain decreased immensely by the end of the acupuncture treatment. I finished the day feeling pretty good. I went in to school the next day, again 4 hours late because overnight, the pain came back. I chose to be late because I thought of the words spoken to me the day before, during treatment, by the third year student, keep your back really warm. I was not warm at all. I took a shower for about 20 minutes and took the time to get really warm before class. I started feeling a little better. I got to class and was treated like someone who mattered. My teacher gave me the utmost attention. She asked if the class could treat me. I agreed to that. The class put the lesson at hand aside and together, created a treatment plan. Heat was applied, needles were placed and class resumed while I lay there. My pain almost completely disappeared. I couldnt believe it. After class I treated myself to a hot shower for 15 minutes. It is now 30 minutes after my shower. I have full movement and no pain right now, not even an indication of a back issue. As a person with chronic back issues, this seems miraculous. A testament to the potential of genuine care. Thank you Middle Way.
