I couldn't be any happier with my experience. I had half a cord of (kiln-dried) maple delivered for a good price. Tom showed up exactly when he said he would. More importantly though, the wood is fantastic, and simply a pleasure to burn in my outdoor firepit+grill (Breeo). It lights remarkably easily because it's so dry, and burns hot and with waay less smoke than even seasoned wood. There's some cherry wood along with the maple, which I'm happy about because it's a great wood for cooking. Fun fact: I tested the wood with my moisture meter and wasn't getting any readings - turns out it was because it has a 5% threshold below which it doesn't register, and the wood was below that threshold. (For comparison, seasoned wood is supposed to be below 15%, and ~12% is considered decent seasoned wood.) If you buy firewood on Facebook marketplace, it's a crapshoot because "seasoned" wood often turns out to be green, and a "cord" is anything but what it's supposed to be. The amount of wood I got from NW Fuel is pretty much *exactly* half a cord (64 cubic feet), maybe slightly more. It looks like NW Fuel gets a lot of repeat business, and I'm certainly not surprised. I know where I'm going the next time. P.S. The Breeo is a smokeless firepit, but it still takes about 10 minutes to get to smokeless usually. With this firewood, it takes about 4 minutes to get to smokeless. It's the best firewood I've used so far.
