We loved renting the Catalina 27 from Nat, it was the highlight of our trip to Orcas Island. Beautiful area to sail in July, definitely recommend sailing to Blakely Island for lunch. We'll be back to rent again from Nat in the future.

Our family accidentally bumped into Nat on our first day on Orcas and chatted with him for a while before learning about his business. Fortunately, he had an opening in his schedule before our vacation was over. I knew it was a good sign when Nat started our session by asking about our "sailing hopes and dreams" with a twinkle in his eye. He listened very well and checked in periodically to see if we were getting what we wanted out of our session. Nat is a natural teacher; we learned a lot in just a few short hours and really got to handle the boat. Nat's easygoing nature, coupled with his extreme competence, made this a highlight of our week.

Nat is an amazing on the water guide and teacher. He made a day with little wind really come to life with great instruction, humor, and a trip to a neighboring island for fresh donuts for the adults and ice cream for the kids. Our sailing trip was very interactive and fun, an our time on the water will definitely be a memorable experience for years to come. Nat has found his vocation and it is sailing around the San Juan Islands. He was so positive and encouraging with my sons as they tried their hand at real sailing. Money well spent.

We had an amazing time out on the water with Nat this week! When you pick a sailing teacher and/or captain you definitely want them to be fun and friendly! Nat delivers on all of this + he's very patient and open to going where the wind is best and there are interesting things to check out. We'll definitely go again:)
