As a prior employee I can confidently say do not bring your loved ones here even if it is your last and only choice. The residents well being in full is not managments priority and nither is the safety and well being of their staff. That building needs to be shut down, completely gutted and renovated or better yet torn down and rebuilt as well as staff let go, especially managment and management in corporate, and restaffed and started completely new. The people who have no choice currently but to live there are not getting the care they need and have the rights to. Staff is severely over worked and understaffed. And during my time working there I was the only one delegated besides the RN to pass medications and administer insulin. Caregivers there weren't even licensed or trained to provide the appropriate care for the residents who reside there. There is so much more to say, but if you understand what as a caregiver, CNA, RN and even a Executive Director is required to have credentials/licenses and training wise, that alone should tell you how bad this facility is. I was employed from September to January and the whole time I worked there, state and adult protective services was in that building every week to every other week regarding a new complaint/concern/violation. The only times it would seem to get better there and somewhat on the right track was when state put the pressure on them. But as soon as state would leave and stop monitoring them, managment would go right back to how they more than poorly run and manage the facility. I wish I can say that I am being over dramatic. But sadly it greatly pains me to say that this and so much more is true. Please really investigate each and every facility before placing your loves ones anywhere. Because management of these type of facilities are very good actors in selling their businessess to you. All they want is money, very few actually care about the care of your loved one.

After reading their notes regarding my Mom I feel it important to say don't place a loved one at this facility. Suffice it to say they are good sales people. They Did Not give my Mom good care. They back billed my Dad after she passed for care without a care plan. Over medicated my Mom. They do not know how to care for dementia clients. Not enough staff for the number of clients. I could go on, maybe one day I will.
