Disappointed to see and hear how this company is treating their employees. Ive shopped here for years, thanks to the amazing people that work here. To silence their voices after cutting hours and denying benefits (among other things) is shameful. All the Best Pet Care here I come!

Failure to achieve leading to loss of talent and money. The mud bay home office executive team and cronies are somehow condescending without having the necessary experience to condescend. In two decades of work experience I have never seen a less cohesive communication strategy. It is truly the blind leading the blind. When I was hired I was told there were some growing pains of a company moving from small to medium. Even with this warning of disorganization I never imagined a company could change for the worse so quickly. It is fair to say after promising health care and scheduling consistency it has let down all the store staff by forcing part time or split shifts in an effort to reduce eligibility for benefits. It has very low ratio of staff on the floor which can only drive up shoplifting, and it has failed to modernize with online shop options despite over investing in an IT department. In summary: toxic workplace and broken culture syndrome.
