We recently moved back to Olympia and my husband chose this dentistry so without thinking I also decided to go here. It was a big mistake. First we were called and told that the technician that wasnt able to do the cleaning because she had Covid (which totally okay) but said we can still go in and just have a check up without the cleaning and we said yes. We were charged $50 or so just for X-rays which are preventative and covered by our insurance. Again the cleaning was not even done. That was the first weird red sign but we ignored it. Then it was my turn to be seen. Once I got the X-rays done I was told I had 9 cavities.. I was so confused because my past dentist hadnt mentioned anything and to all of a sudden get 9 cavities just seemed insane. I went along with it and got two fillings because the technician started mentioning root canals. Those 2 fillings were $200. On top of the payment for these fillings they arent even dont correctly. They are so uncomfortable I cant even floss without being in pain. I had a gut feeling that something was off so I scheduled a second opinion and Im glad I did. The dentist I saw said I only had 2 cavities. Dentists make the big bucks of cavities so I truly believe they were just trying to get their paycheck. At this point we havent paid anything because we didnt get a bill in the mail yet. In the meantime I was getting weekly calls to schedule my next fillings. And when I finally answered and told them that I wouldnt be seeing them again they called me weekly again to pay the bill that we owed. This dentist is a complete sham and just wants money. I dont know how they have all these 5 star reviews. Im just thinking of all the other poor people they are sucking money out of and harassing with weekly calls.

You know your walking into a quality establishment when the employees are always happy, upbeat, professional and the patience leave knowing they are getting quality care and look forward to their next visit.
I have been going to Dr. Hutchinson for years now and will continue to do so. Thank you Jim for developing an environment for your employees and patience to thrive.

This is the best experience I have ever had in a doctor's office! Dr. Hutchinson was very attentive & skilled. The office staff were so kind & very informative.
