Hi Vince, I'm so sorry you feel this way. Just to clarify a few things - we did receive the paperwork that you filled out which is paperwork we have to have to be able to begin accessing your claim file for review. Part of that paperwork includes you signing a document that we fax into the Department to preserve issues that could be appealable while we take the time to review the claim. This was done, as standard procedure, so that could be what you're talking about with your appeal. There might have been an Order in your claim that was already protested, and therefore the protest we sent in that you signed was to what's called an appealable only order. The Department is the one that sends that on to the BIIA. Further, after we received your paperwork we informed you that we needed you to go into your claim file to allow us access. We returned all phone calls that were made and you could not enter the lobby because our lobby was closed between September and December of 2021. Unfortunately, without access being granted to us by the injured workers in claims, we cannot access your file because it's confidential to you. After a month of not being able to reach you and not having access to your claim, we closed our file assuming you were no longer interested.
