Be advised the beach has an advisory that the pollution level is high and you need to shower any mud or water from your body. Also the beach access has no swimming. Additionally the mud flats are considered dangerous. Im not certain why there is beach access. The signs are permanently posted. It should have the advisory on the website so people know before they go.

Awesome, clean, plenty parking. Respectful visitors. Great for kids to play at playground or walk to beach

Facilities, playground, parking all seemed just fine. I didn't do the trail. We went down to the beach which was basically a mudhole. I don't know if it was just super low tide, but it wasn't a sandy beach or a rocky beach. It was slimy mud. Not great for kids.
