    3/4 stations said 'in use'. There were no cars. Almost left me stranded. Issue details: The closest other stations are 30 miles to Poulsbo or 25 to Gig Harbor. *** Updated rating from 1 star to 3. Problem was fixed within 10 hours.

    I work down the street and charge here twice a week and service is consistently poor because of charging speed throttling. Don't advertise a speed and then cut it back to a quarter of the advertised speed, and don't throttle speeds when you're selling people membership plans with limited charging time. I only have 30 minutes per day to charge on my plan and slow speeds mean I have to return more often because of insufficient charge per session.

    Giving an extra star because it did actually charge my car. I charged for a couple of hours here because I had come far and I was pretty low on charge when I started the session. I had read on here that these stations can be slow and generally had no idea how long it might take to charge enough. I dont live near this station nor near any other charging station by this company, so I dont have an account or the app. So when I started the session, I signed up for text status alerts, so Id know when its done charging. No text alerts came. Note, I was in cell phone range and texting with family the entire time. I got back to the station to find it done charging and in idle mode, which carries an additional fee. I ended the session and immediately got the summary and receipt text. My car was idling quite some time and I was charged for that. No other text ever arrived. I called to say I shouldnt be charged for idle time since no text alert came. Of course I would have moved the car. The folks on the phone are nice enough but dont resolve these types of issues with you on the phone. They just put in a request and then you get a follow up by email. In my case I got a standard response email five days later stating they carefully reviewed my case and determined that my session did indeed go into idle mode and therefore I was properly charged. I had them reopen the case since they didnt consider my actual issue, which was that I didnt get any notice that I was entering idle mode so I would know that was about to be charged to park in an otherwise free parking lot. The next morning they denied me again, stating that after carefully reviewing my case, they determined the station worked properly and text notifications may experience delays or may not be delivered due to mobile service limitations and that I should get the app for better updates in the future. That part of their operation is pretty scammy, in my opinion. What do they expect people to do, check on their vehicles every 10 minutes? The station *offered* text status alerts, so I relied on that. I find it a bit suspicious given: 1) they charge more for idle time than to charge and therefore benefit from folks not making it back on time, 2) no text came, but the text receipt at the end of session was prompt, and 3) they give you friendly assurances on the phone but then deny your refund request by email.
