Palouse Floors replaced the carpet in our entire basement and a couple of bedrooms with wood flooring when we moved into our new home. Overall, I'm satisfied with the outcome and impressed by their young and energetic team. However, there are some areas where improvements could be made, which is why I've rated them four stars and reserved one star for potential enhancements. Here are a few examples: Initially, one of their team members cut the wood floor in my garage, which was empty at the time. However, the garage soon became dusty, even after vacuuming. It might be better to find an alternative location, such as an outdoor deck or slightly outside the garage, to avoid this issue. They found another place to cut the wood when they noticed that my moving company was going to put boxes in the garage. After the boxes came in, it is quite inconvenient to clean thoroughly without unpacking everything first. When nailing the baseboards, it would be better to use a stud finder to prevent accidentally hitting pipes or gas lines. They encountered a pre-existing issue where a nail hit a waterline while removing a baseboard before installing the floor. They promptly called a plumber to rectify the situation, which I appreciated. However, several days later, they accidentally hit my gas line while nailing a baseboard in a different location behind the fireplace. Although they handled the situation well and demonstrated experience in resolving unexpected challenges during construction, experiencing days without gas in the winter was certainly inconvenient. Occasionally, I received repeated or inaccurate bills from them. However, they promptly corrected these issues when brought to their attention during a phone call. While they handle mistakes in a professional and courteous manner, which is crucial in any construction project, I believe that many of these issues could have been easily avoided. I'm confident that they can enhance their processes for future projects.

Our experience with Palouse Flooring has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. We wish we could give them a 10 star rating! Palouse flooring was recommended to us by a friend. Spencer is their project coordinator. He was prompt, communicated well, listened to our project needs, and very detailed in scheduling and our estimate. Simon is the owner. He was very informed of our project and very personable. Our install crew was Isaac and Paul. Both of these young men displayed amazing work ethics. They were on time, detailed oriented, kept work area clean, respectful, organized, and just a pleasure to have working in our home. Shawn was our project supervisor and would stop by and to make sure project was going smoothly. He was very personable. This type of customer service is very hard to find these days! Our flooring turned out beautiful!
