Brookdale Courtyard Puyallup

I gave this place a three star review. The staff were friendly. Suggestions would be to add another elevator and gentle close doors in stairwells.

After being dissatisfied and frustrated with all the difficulties at a different Assisted Living facility my mother was at previously and the increase in cost, I am very glad and thankful we made a change and moved her to Brookdale! Mom is receiving much better care and attention at Brookdale. Staff is responsive and I am pleased and satisfied with the assistance Mom receives. Their food looks very appetizing to me whenever I am there and she likes it. I always enjoy seeing the list of monthly activities they provide. Staff is friendly and caring.

My sister lives at Brookdale. She is profoundly deaf and everyone makes an effort to communicate with her. She loves it at brookdale

Best senior living community in town, quality people that care about your family member. They are always going to extra mile to make sure they are taken care of and keeping the family members informed. From the Executive Director, to the Business manager, Sales Manager, Receptionists, building maintenance team, house keeping, transportation gal, activities director, Wellness center director and coordinators and nursing and care team and the cooks to servers. EVERYONE is amazing! Even better, they DONT DO AGENCY! That means, the people that care for your loved ones actually get to know them and their quirks. They know what makes them tick, how they are, what they like all the things that are not able to see in a chart. They know when your family member is being different and they alert you. I truly love this place and love how they take care of my dad. I was blessed to be able to find a place that truly cares. Some people come to work for a paycheck, these people come to work because they care and take pride in what they do. Always finding ways to keep their clients engaged and serving amazing food as well. When they hire you can tell they ensure that not only do the candidates meet the qualifications for the job duties they also ensure they match the positive energy that surrounds Brookdale and provide that family type of care. I am grateful for each and every one of them and know that all my dads needs are addressed with a smile, compassion and empathy. Thank you to all the Brookdale staff that provide my family with a sense of relief and extended family. You all are appreciated.
