Banner Bank - Closed

First opened my account in Yakima where there are plenty of locations. Service has always been great and the zero ATM fees is a fantastic perk. Since moving to Puyallup the only issue is lack of locations, one in Tacoma and the other is deep in South Hill where traffic is a nightmare. I won't fault Banner for that, in fact it's actually a testament to how much I prefer to do my banking there.

I have been a Banner Bank member for over a 10 years and I can honestly say it has been the best experience I've ever had in banking.  The customer service at this location as well as over the phone with call center representatives is top notch.

My boyfriend and I are in the process of buying our first home and Banner has been so quick, easy, and helpful to work with! Nathan and Audrey are amazing at what they do and answered all our questions and concerns promptly and are so friendly! Thank you!

We have been dealing with this bank for some time and thought it was good but that changed. While I kept trying to give chances and see if anything improved it did not. The only thing I can say is that they were able to assist with a loan problem. Which was appreciated. But too many bad things do not make a right. They will remind you just how hard they are working in case you complain or question timelines. As if you are the one at fault. Poor communication or lack there of. Very rude staff. Dealt with several individuals from tellers to back office at this location and same outcome. If you are looking for a bank perhaps will have luck at another location but stay clear of this one.

My first dealings with this branch pre-pandemic was perfect. I felt heard and understood and I received great customer service having all of my questions and concerns answered respectfully and in a timely manner. During my second round of business in the middle of a pandemic has not been so easy. Lack of communication had me at times wondering what was going on and not knowing what the next step would be left me feeling like I didn't matter. In the long run all of my concerns have been fairly addressed and I can once again say that I am a satisfied customer.
