Construction Components is a great company and group of people to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Wyatt who does garage doors and he has always got back to me in a timely manner and the work that he does always looks great. We appreciate all your hard work!

Our experience with Construction Components for some closet design work was initially fine, but turned costly and disappointing. We originally contracted for them to make enhancements to three of our closets. (see below) Along the way, Nyer Brittain of Construction Components suggested he could also procure and install a custom 'end-grain' butcher block countertop for a specialized kitchen cabinet soon to be constructed by our carpenter. We received and approved Nyer Brittains quote for the butcher block. Construction Components then provided exact height specifications for our carpenter. We asked twice for verification/confirmation regarding the butcher block dimensions and availability. We were assured both by phone and email that the butcher block order was being finalized and the dimensions were correct. Our carpenter custom built the cabinet to accommodate the butcher block as specified by Construction Components. Later that same day, Nyer Brittain called to say that his supplier could not in fact provide the 'end-grain' product, and that the cabinet specifications he'd provided were actually incorrect and would not accommodate an end-grain top. ("end-grain" is generally thicker - which is why we asked for assurances). Given these errors, we procured the end-grain top ourselves. We had to pay the carpenter $1,000 to deconstruct, modify, and rebuild the cabinet to accommodate the butcher block. After the repairs were made and the counter finally installed, we contacted Construction Components to reimburse us for the $1,000 additional carpentry expense - incurred due to their error. Although initially they agreed it was their responsibility and had agreed to reimburse us, they ultimately refused - stating that even though theyd caused the error, they hadnt in the end made money by selling us a the butcher block, so they had no intention of paying for their mistake! Not the right way to treat a customer. As regards the work done in three of our closets, we are content with those results. Attached is a photo of the mud-room closet Construction Components did for us. The master closet project included installing a custom granite countertop on a set of custom drawers. It looks good and works well. However, given our experience with the butcher block, my advice would be to consider other vendors. Based upon their questionable integrity, if issues do arise in your project it may cost you a lot of money.

These guys are GREAT! Broke the glass on our garage door multiple times and they do an excellent job replacing the panels. Then we hit the darned thing and they were out the next day to fix the door and secure our home. Technicians were professional, respectful and timely. AMAZING company to work with that has never let us down!
