I have used this trail for 10+ years, and I always feel happy and refreshed after my many trips along it. There are various sights to see year round. In the spring, you will find numerous flowers in bloom. In the summer, you will want to bring some buckets with you as there are many blackberry bushes found alongside the trail. In the fall, you will have a picturesque view of the valley as the leaves change colors. In the winter, you can mellow out as the cloudy skies give a calm overcast. Just be careful with any ice and snow. The renovations at the trailhead for ADA accessibility improvements were much needed, which make for a better visit for all. A photo does not do it justice, and Ill try. You really have to experience it for yourself! Grateful for this trail! Dog-friendliness: Great location to bring your dog. Also, to all owners: please pick up after your pet and dispose of your bags elsewhere. Nobody appreciates you leaving bags of sh*t on the side of the trail either. If you already do these things, thank you for being a decent person.

Beautiful biking/running trail. Brand new parking lot so there is now double the parking.

Great place to walk, with a beautiful view of Mt Rainier. The path is wide enough for bicycles, joggers, and walkers, and it's dog friendly. Update- First visit since the trailhead improveme.ts recently. There is more parking in the larger parking lot. And two entrances. Love this trail. Parking: At the moment there are 20+ parking spaces. I've never had an issue parking. Update after recent improvements- More parking (80+ spaces) with larger parking lot, two separate entrances. Looks fantastic. Restrooms: Restroom is decent. Would be nice if there was more than one. Dog-friendliness: This trail is dog friendly.

Completely paved trail. Nice and flat. Pretty views of the mountain at times. Parking: Plenty of spaces in the free parking lot. Dog-friendliness: Pets must be on leash. Pick up pet waste.
