        What a way to spend a January afternoon if you are someone who moved here from California or the East Coast and wants to learn more about this unique aspect of the Northwest culture. Friendly staff and lots of information readily available!

        We visited just to kill time before heading to the airport to fly out. It was a perfect little adventure after eating breakfast. Very educational, and beautiful little park. The little self-guided tour map was super helpful. If you have littles be careful, some of the tanks have electrical fencing around it. We visited at the end of August 2022 and they had rainbow trout in the tanks all different ages/size.

        Site says open, gated entries still say closed! Disappointed.

        Well this is a brand new fish hatchery to replace the old one It was amazing to see those holding tanks teaming with fish fry and the beauty that it is set in as well as be able to see salmon spawning up the creek someday which may be a rare sight
