I worked in this company for a half year during the pandemic period. They just SET ME UP. The so called engineering director did not understand how to make the USB communication work for a NXP processor's USB stack. They hired me and promised me there would be serveral new product developmenst in the line in the near future and they needed more electronic engineers. It took me a week to figure out the bugs in the USB stack. I was immediately idled after that. The engineer director (the whole electronic department has two engineers) held every tiny project tightly to himself. The so called operation manager (graduated from a top university) did want to change anything for that. He did not give me a performance review supposed to be done in the first half year even if I asked for. However he vehemently blamed me for browsing my cell phone too much and let me go six months later. The Phd General Manager was in my next door office. I could hear him, on a daily basis, talk on the phone loudly and laugh on the phone crazily, slam the door heavily when getting in/out of his office. One day, his lunch meal was the same as mine but was not ordered by someone in the company. I got mine and he interrogated me for the lunch. What a PhD! I remember, on the first day one-on-one meeting, this Phd spent 45 minutes in teaching me about molecular biology but I have been an embedded software engineer for my whole life. He insisted every body in the company attending his four hour biological science weekly meeting regardless of employee's background. I have been very fortunate for being fired from this company. After that daunting six months, I have been working in an automation equipment comany happily and enjoyed giant promotions twice in the past two years. I report, you decide!
