Very professional team. Our project was small, but they treated us as if our project was their sole focus. Highly recommended!

My experience was mostly positive but not perfect. Andrew was very helpful in accommodating our budget and mostly forthcoming about giving accurate quotations with different options until I could settle on a job scope we thought was reasonable. Our budget was the biggest limiting factor for this project so we settled on a paver patio. Can confirm that everything was done to industry standards, and that subcontractors are hired. They were very kind for the whole 4-day project, and through Zach I was able to communicate needed changes like lowering our patio to accommodate friends with mobility issues. He also checked-in every day to make sure I was satisfied with the work so far, and communicating what should happen next. The work crew (of 2) also went above and beyond, replanting some things that were in the way, and protecting the plants we asked, leaving the space in better condition than when they arrived. Overall the patio came out nice, and we look forward to putting it to use. Some caveats: 1. Design Consultant and Project manager didn't communicate fully. In the conversation with Andrew I remember distinctly mentioning a number of times about an ADA friend in an 800lb. wheelchair who would need the ability to roll onto the patio without a major step, and was assured that the lip would be minor. The reason I had to ask Zach to lower the patio is because after the first day the crew dug to remove sod and that was supposed to be enough. My fault for assuming that using ADA-compliant pavers meant the whole job would be as well. One other possibility for this miscommunication was because we cut out a walkway portion to this project, and so became simply a floating patio. 2. "UP TO X amount of digging, gravel, sand, etc." in the work contract = Just enough. Part of why I signed the contract with System Pavers is because the Design Consultant persuaded me that the hassle of DIY; digging, geotextile, gravel, leveling, paving, dumping, etc. was more than I wanted handle. Contrast that with the Project Manager coming in and saying "oh yeah this will easy and straightforward" made me immediately uneasy about the second biggest purchase of my life. So until the crew started the actual paving part, I was second guessing every step whether I could have done just as well albeit over much more time. 3. There's no way to be sure. I can't tell if things are done up to code because I haven't learned the code, but it's also equally difficult to know if the work is done right if each subsequent layer of work buries the previous and you only check at the end of the day. I will not assume that anyone was dishonest. But like with most companies, know as much as possible exactly what you want, and get it in writing. You should work with them because your time is valuable and you can afford the convenience.

Very happy with entire process and final product. The company was very professional answering our questions and helping with product selection. Brent oversaw the installation and was helpful and responsible. Everything went without problems. Project finished faster than expected. Final product better than expected. Would definitely recommend them.

While I understand that there is supposed to be a certain degree of slope to the patio to allow for drainage, the slope was too much as you can see by the photos. there is a definite slant to the patio, that you notice as you are walking on it or when you put patio chairs on it. The salesperson agreed that there is too much of a slant, but after speaking to the project manager, he refused to fix it and said that it would be more trouble then it's worth. Also the drain pipe that they connected didn't even match up to the original drain so when the water was coming down from the gutter, it was just draining onto the soil around the patio which over time could cause the patio to slant or dip. The purple lines on the photo show where the original pipe is, and the water drains from the right side as it falls down from the pipe. There were some concrete stairs that were curved and I wanted to keep. I did this for a couple of reasons 1) to save money and 2) because architecturally it was just more interesting than just straight stairs. When I came home I noticed that the stairs were gone, and they tried to tell me that it was because the rebar underneath the original stairs had cracked the concrete. I know this isn't true, because they must have forgotten that I have a camera that recorded the whole thing. One of the workers read the blueprint wrong and he started deconstructing the stairs. The other worker was yelling at him that he messed up. When I came home they said they would fix it at no charge , but now stuck with plain straight steps. I was trying to be nice to them, even brought them lunch everyday. But now I feel like a sucker, because after the job was "completed" the project manager just kept blowing me off and then totally refused to fix any of the problems.
