Redmond Art Works

Had a great time here for my first acrylics painting class. The teacher Annie did a great job of encouraging various techniques and engaging the class. Would be happy to come again

It was fun, but the class format didn't allow for much instruction (1.5 hour pottery sampler). They are missing opportunities to get students feeling excited about pottery making and buy more classes. I would have liked to have known what the usual starter class series was or how often they are offered, but there was nothing said and no information offered. There was also nothing encouraging said like "it usually takes 5 times to make a decent pot. Your handle looks great",etc . So we left with a feeling of "well, that happened and now it's done" vs feeling like "I would love to try wheel throwing again!" It was nice to go somewhere and have the equipment and supplies provided, though.

We had our 5 year olds birthday party at Redmond Art Works and had the best time! Parents and kids all commented on how much fun it was for all! The staff was all so friendly and a great layout for the space as well! I think there will be many more parties at RAW with her friends!
