We are graduating our third child soon from Bear Creek. Our first two graduated over 10 years ago. What is amazing about Bear Creek is its product and community. Though Bear Creek is adaptable they do stick with what is working. They do live out their mission. They are intentional in planning and executing. They continue to grow too, e.g. Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School all have their own Dean with Upper School having an Assistant Dean too. Student life continues to be a high priority. The athletics continue to grow. School spirit at the games brings our community together. My daughter was able to participate in sports and speech but narrowed her efforts to ASB and drama. There are many ways a student can get plugged in - they just have to find it. They can even create their own club if they can't find one that suites them. :)  The liberal arts curriculum does produce people who think for themselves. Our Christian faith is important to us and I appreciate the teaching from a Christian worldview. I appreciate how teachers pray for their students. I appreciate how the school partners with parents and encourages volunteering. Bear Creek's school culture does emulate the Core Values all community members agree upon.  I appreciate how student's mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth. In this COVID season, Bear Creek pivoted to ensure the education continued. The teachers and admin are very committed and work hard. And now in COVID, even more. Bear Creek has provided a choice of on-campus and remote learning. Our admin and head nurse have ensured faculty, staff, and students are safe.  My husband and I are grateful to have partner with Bear Creek over the years. Totally worth the investment and sacrifices. We gave our children a solid foundation for the life they choose.

Hands down - the best decision we ever made for our kids.   The list of pros is extensive: - Small class sizes - Teachers who care and are engaged with the welfare of both students and parents (parents need support too! :-) - A Christian education with Christian educators - which helps take a lot of the "ick" that you experience in the public schools out of the equation - Solid sports curriculum to choose from along with the flexibility built in by WIAA (public school sports) that allow you to play sports for your local public school if that sport isn't offered by Bear Creek - Honors & A/P curriculum - High school guidance counselors that know you by name and help you plan for the future - And, hoping this isn't something that will matter in the future - but for now, a solid Learn From Home curriculum that is optimized for this COVID-19 environment

We just had a very disappointing experience with Bear creak .2 weeks ago, i emailed Michelle Morris and asked her about availability to enroll my son to 2nd grade, she emailed back said yesand guided us through parent interview & my son attended test Aug 17, and reminded us to pay the application fee right after. However, today 8/21, we got email saying my son is qualified but you have no open spot for him.i emailed Michelle right away to seek more details, but my email was blocked, see attached picture. Thus i called school and got call back from Christine. she said it was true 2 weeks ago there was spot but now there is not.i had asked 2 questions :what did you do to pick other kids over my son, as my son is qualified also .why you didnt inform us there is possibility my son can not be enrolled even we go through interviews and paid all the cost ?Her answer is confidential & thats the way it is !!!???
