The Center for Urban Horticulture was a jaw-droppingly beautiful venue for our wedding. We're still getting compliments about how stunning the location was! That said, our vendors were very frustrated by the amenities. While previously the elevator and kitchen were available to vendors, they're currently notyou can imagine how much harder it was for them to cook for 80+ people without the use of a kitchen, or transport all the furniture without an elevator. This made everything vastly more complicated, and if we were starting again we'd choose a different venue despite the Center's incredible natural beauty.

CUH is always worth a visit! Inside the CUH building there's Miller library that is open to the public. It has great art exhibits and a wealth of wonderful books! Outside, there are multiple garden plots to visit: a fragrance garden, the beautiful and interesting Soest garden and Goodfellow Grove. Behind the CUH is the Union Bay Natural Area with trails to wetlands, natural vegetation areas, Union Bay and great bird watching! I hope you can go!
