Took a Homestyle Japanese Bento Box class and it was wonderful. Mikiko is a great teacher, showing us all the relevant steps and managing time in a way that allowed us to comfortably prepare everything in the class. The space itself was clean, cozy and easy to cook in.

I have taken 2 classes with Elaine at Dash of Soy. Both were amazing! The small class size really allows you to get a lot of hands on experience and ask questions as you go. I highly recommend taking a class with Elaine!

Elaine's traditional pork dumpling class was excellent. She was welcoming, knowledgeable and made as all feel so comfortable cooking in her kitchen. The steps were easy to follow and thankfully easy to remember as we made dumplings at home with the leftovers the following day (yum). We greatly appreciated learning history and culture related to dumplings while sitting down to eat family style. Thank you Elaine--we can't wait to return!
