Cannot express the happiness our floors bring us thanks to Aaron. We had a HUGE water stain in our living room he was able to get out and the floors look and feel AMAZING! He and Emma were super easy to work with and very responsive. We are also super grateful for them rearranging their schedule to accommodate us. I had the pleasure of working with Holley Floors to have carpets removed and hardwood flooring installed in the primary bedroom of my Ballard townhome. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Aaron and Emma were responsive, fair, and did an excellent job throughout the project. Aaron is a true craftsman who takes great pride in the quality of his work. As a first-time homeowner and first-time renovator, it meant so much to me that they took the time to educate me about the process and walk me through my options. I hope to work with them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking to take on flooring installation!

We are THRILLED with the new floor that Aaron and his team installed in our basement. Aaron thoughtfully communicated throughout the entire process and our new floor looks outstanding. Highly recommend him to anyone!

We discovered hardwood floors under our carpets upstairs, and I couldn't resist the urge to tear them up. The corner I started in looked great, but as I continued to remove carpet ... there were some issues. I was mostly worried about the fact that someone had tried (and failed) to refinish the floors in the past, but that was not an issue at all. We sought referrals from neighbors, and Holley Floors came up several times. We ended up booking to have the upstairs hallway and 2 bedrooms, plus our kitchen and dining room floors redone. We opted to do Swedish Finish rather than water-based. While I typically prefer more environmentally-friendly products, Swedish Finish did make more sense because fir is a fairly soft wood and we'd likely have to do additional refinishes in a shorter period with water-based. We were out of the town the weekend before Aaron started, so let him know that he could start a day or two early if preferred. Aaron started on Saturday, rather than Monday, but (my mistake for not asking) he didn't come on Sunday or Monday, so we had a Thursday finish date, regardless. Does the Swedish Finish smell bad? It burns your eyes and makes you cough. This stuff is no joke. You CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be in your home during refinishing. Find a different place to stay while getting floors finished (we stayed in a nearby home) Do you need to move furniture out? Yes, move it all out. We moved furniture out of the bedrooms and kitchen/dining. Our living room is packed, as is one of our bathrooms. What's the finish feel like? When finished, it's smooth and silky. Aaron did an amazing job on sanding, bringing out the natural beauty of our floors. Would you do it again? 100% yes. We'll need to refinish our living room and 1st floor bedroom in the future and would definitely use Aaron again. I am not getting paid for, or any sort of kickback or discount for this review. I look to others' opinions and feedback on businesses and hope that this is helpful for anyone considering refinishing their floors.
