Kohl construction does excellent work!! My family has worked with them for over 30 years, as they did multiple projects on my mothers home in Mt Baker and now they have completed an incredible renovation (complete kitchen, new powder room, and refinishing 2 stories of living space) on our 1903 Seward Park home. We have never looked for another contractor because we know that the Kohls (father and son) do great work and we can trust them to do everything in our best interest. Our kitchen remodel project was small but complex, an expansion melding a century-old brick chimney kitchen with a large, recently built mudroom, and it had to be done in the middle of our busy three-teenager household, of course with our overly protective dog roaring in the front room. Brendan handled it all with aplomb, a good sense of humor and some really excellent work from the stable of craft workers established by his dad, the esteemed Paul Kohl. I hired Kohl Construction to undertake a large home remodel, and I could not be more pleased with the end result. Paul Kohl is a man of integrity and absolute professionalism. His entire team is highly skilled, polite and respectful. In fact, many of his subs have been with Paul for 15/30 years, and each one is skillful, competent and detail-oriented. They are all pros and helped guide me through various decisions that resulted in a gorgeous home that completely exceeded my (already high) expectations. Timeline and budget were spot on. I highly recommend Kohl Construction and am grateful for my experience with them. They are good people who know what they are doing.

wow!! I've had such a great experience with this company. Paul is an excellent communicator. Taking frequent meetings, responding to emails quickly, and connecting me to his vast web of excellent subcontractors who all do beautiful work. We've had our bathroom remodeled twice and a whole kitchen overhaul by Kohl Construction, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Kohl Construction seem to really care about the quality of their finished product with frequent checks and highly skilled craftsmen, some who have worked with him for decades. Just recommended to my sister in law who has condo in Laurelhurst. Highly recommend this company!
