Ascend Nail Lounge

I have been coming to this nail salon since I moved to Seattle last summer and used to be my fav nail salon. Lately I have been disappointed with my nails. My nails werent shaped like they should have been. I asked that gel removal be done without a drill and she still did it, even after mentioning it a couple of times. The color that I chose from the palette, when she put it on my nails was a totally different color and was super bummed and had to go with white (the palette was exposed to sun and looked lighter? but then why wasnt it updated?) Even then my nails werent shape/filed properly and the nail polish was put uneven.

Couple of things went bad with the experience. 1. The technician did not do any message or scrubbing. She just applied the product did some formality of applying and cleaned it up. 2. She rushed so much as it was likely her end of the day (dont offer late appointments if you cant do the due diligence). 3. Argh! While applying the paint there is so much gap between where nail starts and where it is applied. It was supposed to be a relaxing experience and initially it started well, but later I just landed up being more anxious as it was done in a hurry.

Been coming here for a year now. This has been the one place where I have NEVER had any issues. Their service has super high standards. The staff is polite and the atmosphere is very calming. They let you be and don't pressure you into a small talk, like other places. And their work is perfection. I have not had any issues ever with my nails and I visit at least once a month.
